We stayed in many so called 5* hotels during our 15 day stay
in India but Fort Chanwa was the one we enjoyed the best. We arrived
in a village and suddenly the doors to a 'Havali' opened up to reveal
the hotel! Immediately the hotel staff were there to take care of
us - I know this happens everywhere

The Fort Chanwa is the place to be for a romantic stay. Our
room was beautifully decorated and spacious. We only got to spend
one night here and wished we could have spent some more. Staying
here offers a lovely chance to stay in a nicely renovated authentic
Rajasthani fort. We would certainly opt to stay here again next
time.

Walking through the big cast-iron doors, we felt like
we’d stepped back in time in this magnificent fort-hotel situated
25km from Jodhpur’s city centre. Restoration work has been
ongoing for the past 15 years, which explains why the property is
very well-maintained. The gardens are charming by night and definitely
a romantic place for honeymooners. The service and the quality.

The hotel is in Luni, a very small village not far from Jodhpur,
where the main attraction is the hotel itself, a beautiful heritage
hotel. Nice courtyards and pool in a smaller courtyard, with pretty
flowering trees. Room was pleasant, and common areas are very attractive.
